Annual Review of the Anti-Bullying Policy
The Board of Management and staff recognise the very serious nature of bullying and the negative impact that it can have on the lives of our pupils. We are fully committed to preventing and tackling bullying behaviour.
In accordance with the Anti-Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools, “ bullying” is defined as “unwanted negative behaviour, verbal, psychological or physical conducted, by an individual or group against another person (or persons) and which is repeated over time“.
At a Board of Management meeting, dated 20/02/24, our Anti Bullying Policy annual review was completed. This review was conducted in accordance with the checklist set our in Appendix 4 of the Department’s Anti-Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools.
