Walk for Water

Our Green School Committee, together with the Active School Committee organised a Walk for Water to celebrate World Water Day. We did this to raise awareness about women and children in countries around the world, who walk on average 6km a day to access water, and have to carry heavy loads of up to 20 Litres on their way back. Often the water they find is dirty and not fit for human consumption. Our Walk for Water made us realise how lucky we are to have safe drinking water and sanitation. We also got to observe the signs of Spring in the beautiful countryside surrounding our school.
