The 361st International Astronomical Union (IAU) Symposium: 'Massive Stars Near and Far' was held in the Slieve Russell Hotel on Wednesday 11th May. This International Conference brought together astrophysicists from many different countries to discuss all aspects of massive stars. For more information on the Symposium visit https://www.massivestars2020.ie/
To celebrate the occasion, Armagh Observatory and Planetarium  invited pupils from Greaghrahan N.S. to participate in an immersive stellar experience in their outreach dome. Helen and Ria guided the pupils with their fun, interactive virtual presentation as they explored the planets of the Solar System and journeyed through the night sky. It was an amazing experience which was much enjoyed by all.   Thank you to all at Armagh Observatory and Planetarium for giving us this unique opportunity right on our doorstep.
