Hi boys and girls!
We hope you are doing well and are looking after each other. We know that you and your parents have been working really hard at home, not only on your schoolwork but on lots of other things as well. So a big thank you to you all. We miss seeing you all but we've loved getting your pictures and hearing what you have been getting up to. 
Last week the Minister for Health Simon Harris said "Today I am thinking of all the children across the country. It's a really difficult time for them. So much in their life has been upended. Yet, they have been super!" We agree with Minister Harris! You are all super!

Last week we also heard that we won't be going back to school until September. That was probably a big shock to some of you and to us as well. We know some of you are delighted to get spending more time at home doing the things you love with your family, but we're also thinking about the fun things we would have been doing at school. On Saturday Oscar, Adam and Fiachra would have been receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation and looking forward to their last few weeks in Sixth Class. Even though we are disappointed about missing these special events in our lives, we know the government are doing their best to keep everyone in our community safe and well. If you are ever worried about anything just remember to talk to your parents or someone you love.

We hope you enjoyed the 'Active Home Week' activities last week. Don't forget to send your chart and some photos to us. We would love to see all the things you got up to! We have more exciting things planned for this week. We are asking you to do our Active School survey and you have to design a poster for our Active School motto. We can't wait to see the entries. Next week we will be exploring county Cavan virtually with Cavan Sport's Partnership. So there's lots going on to keep you fit and active. Don't forget to keep an eye on our Home School Learning page where we are always putting up new ideas for you to try. Our Active School page is another one to watch, where you will see what your friends got up to for 'Active Home Week.'
