Thank you to the Parents Association of Greaghrahan N.S.and Milltown N.S. for organising a Halloween disco all the children of the parish. It was a wonderful success, enjoyed by all. 

Our Senior pupils are wonderful role models for the younger classes and we like to give them the opportunity to work  together when we can. They had a great time doing Halloween activities together. Check out the pictures below to see all the spooktacular fun they had.

We really enjoyed getting outdoors to explore the signs of Autumn. It is one of our favourite times of year and we found lots of interesting things on our Scavenger Hunt.

The children 4th, 5th and 6th classes played volleyball with Donal from Cavan Sports Partnership for 4 weeks in October. They really enjoyed trying a new sport and learning the new rules. Thanks to Donal and Cavan Sports Partnership.

The children enjoyed a portion of fruit and vegetables each day as part of the Food Dudes Programme. They were rewarded with some amazing rewards including pencils, sticky notes and a water bottle. Each child also got a new lunchbox to bring tasty fruit and vegetables as a snack each day going forward. We look forward to seeing lots of vibrant colour in every lunchbox from now on!

Each child in the Senior Room researched a country competing in the Rugby World Cup. They researched and learned lots about features such as the geographical features, landmarks, the language, the climate and the food. Each child demonstrated their artistic talent displaying the information in a creative manner. 

Today marked a historic day for our school community when the Drumlane Ladies Senior County Champions and Management visited our school with the cup.
The occasion was even more special as our teacher Ms. Moran was on the winning team when they beat Lacken on Saturday. The pupils made a presentation to Ms. Moran to acknowledge the role she played alongside her teammates in winning the county title.  The pupils were eagerly anticipating the big final on Saturday and made posters, flags and banners to cheer on the team. 
The players signed flags and posed for photographs with the pupils and staff.  There was a great atmosphere in the school this morning. We are all extremely proud of the team which included many of our past pupils. Thank you for visiting our school and we wish you every success in the upcoming Ulster Championship and look forward to supporting you all the way.
