Cavan County Champions visit Greaghrahan N.S.

Today marked a historic day for our school community when the Drumlane Ladies Senior County Champions and Management visited our school with the cup.
The occasion was even more special as our teacher Ms. Moran was on the winning team when they beat Lacken on Saturday. The pupils made a presentation to Ms. Moran to acknowledge the role she played alongside her teammates in winning the county title.  The pupils were eagerly anticipating the big final on Saturday and made posters, flags and banners to cheer on the team. 
The players signed flags and posed for photographs with the pupils and staff.  There was a great atmosphere in the school this morning. We are all extremely proud of the team which included many of our past pupils. Thank you for visiting our school and we wish you every success in the upcoming Ulster Championship and look forward to supporting you all the way.
