Aistear - The Puppet Theatre

We have been having great fun exploring the world of theatre over the past few weeks. We set up our own theatre in the role-play corner where we sold and stamped tickets for the upcoming shows. We were very busy setting up seating for the audience and getting snacks ready for the interval. We created our own puppet theatre and made stick and finger puppets in art. We explored lots of our favourite fairytales and discussed the qualities of the different characters we met. One of our favourite activities was using light to make shadow puppets. That was really fun!
