Colm Mc Elwaine - Orson the Great

It was a pleasure to welcome the author Colm Mc Elwaine to the school recently to mark the publication of his second book.  Colm explained to the pupils how he became an author and talked about his new book "Orson the Great" 
When ten-year-old Orson Whitlock is given a deck of cards by his father on Christmas Eve 1970, he falls in love with magic.  Orson becomes a magician but when he discovers a family secret going back generations, he is dragged deeper into a world of secret societies, deception and strange disappearances.
During the presentation, Colm performed a magic trick for the pupils. He then signed copies of his book for the pupils. According to our readers, the book is a real page turner.  We wish Colm the best of luck with his new book and look forward to further titles in the future.
